Olaf had everything set out for us this morning. Right down to 4 (I think he forgot he now has 3 kids to spoil) golden tickets!!
While we waited the day away for our journey to the North Pole we watched the movie at least 5 times! We couldn't even stand the wait to get in our pj's and head out to Carson City.
When we arrived at the train depot the Polar Express had not arrived from the North Pole so we strolled through the gift shop and took pictures with Old St. Nick!
As we chugged out of the station the pipsqueaks were completely engrossed and enamored by the sights.
We listened to Liam Neeson read The Polar Express while we ate cookies and sipped on hot coco. We were even visited by the "Christmas Angel" from the story.
The littles gathered around the window of train car 3 to catch a glimpse of the North Pole complete with Santa, Mrs. Clause and some cute little elves.
After singing some carols and playing Santa Says the one and only appeared on the train! No Polar Express experience would be complete without Santa's bells. The boys were over the moon and so excited to see the jolly old elf.
Back at the depot and full of Christmas cheer, we snapped a few more pictures of the train for memory sake!
It was another splendid Christmastime evening riding the V&T.
